Love getting massages from Tristan! I work a very physical job that has resulted in a lot of back and hip issues. She is great at really getting in there and working out the problems! Best massages I’ve had!
I have gone to a lot of different PT places and I love the individual treatment you receive at Alpine Fit. Dr. Charlotte was a huge help in reducing my hip pain. She is very friendly and kind but takes her job seriously when it comes to getting you... better. It can be pricey as it isn't through insurance, but they are really great about working with you on payment plans and can also do super bills for you to submit to your insurance.read more

I have had chronic muscle pain in my calves, hamstrings and pretty much the whole posterior chain of my body for seven years. I have been to PT, massage, chiropractors, etc. This is the most hands on physical therapy I have ever experienced, and the... most amount of relief I have felt since the pain started. It is a journey to reduce my muscle pain, but everyone at Alpine Fit is amazing and will use the whole hour they get to work with you to address all your needs. I have had the pleasure of working with everyone here, and I can say that I see recovery in my future of having no pain so I will get back to my outdoor activities! They know that is my goal, and have given me different exercises to help me there as well as dry needling and hands on work that we do during the session. I am motivated to reduce the pain and get back to what I love, and I wouldn't have been able to do it without them. Major shout out to them all 🙂 especially Charlotte who is the first PT who helped me believe I could get better. I highly recommend Alpine Fit to anyone who has tried so many other options and have not had it work for them, or who just wants to reduce pain and get back to their activities.read more

Charlotte is the absolute best! I was debating a knee replacement but Charlotte has put those plans aside and my knee has improved so much since I started with her! Great clinic!
I came to Alpine Fit after discomfort in a hip flexor became intermittent pain. Dr. Charlotte was able to quickly isolate the site of the pain and the root cause being weakness in my glutes. It turns out that not only was this the source of my hip... flexor issue but also contributed to some other running knee issues I have had over the past several years. Without going to Alpine Fit, I probably would have just dismissed those issues as having “bad knees”.Dr. Charlotte created a set of exercises for me that evolved weekly to not only resolve the hip flexor pain but to also develop strength so that the problem doesn’t return. So far the improvement in my legs and performance has been notable. With the improvement in strength and reduction in pain while running, I am starting to look at returning to longer distance races that I have been missing out on for the past many years.read more

I have had long-term lower back and hip pain for over a year and a half, from a running injury I got in college. It was so bad I couldn't sit for longer than 20 minutes at a time, I was distracted at work from the pain, and not feeling confident, in... control, or kind towards my body. I had gone to 4 other physicians or physical therapists in the past to resolve the issue, with no long-term relief or solutions. Going to PT sessions here has for the first time in the past 18 months created substantial and noticeable changes for the better. I appreciated Dr. Kyle Willets personable attitude, and the holistic understanding she has of body mechanics. In my case, I had to re-teach my body proper posture, which is no easy feat but the tools she's provided me have 1) alleviated my pain, and 2) is strengthening my body in a sustainable way, so I hopefully never revert to my old injury. She outlines the "big picture" path forward out of pain and into long-term relief and strength, but is very adaptable and will work with you where you're at for each session (some days I came in with pain and we would work on releasing that tension, other days I felt good and we would work mainly on strength). She has a lot of tools in her toolbox to get me back to where I want to be, and I have made substantially more progress working with her than I had with any other professional in the past over the course of my injury. Will absolutely be continuing my progress with her, and recommend her to anyone else who wants undivided attention to get better.read more

A few years ago, I moved to Colorado and took up skiing (never thought that was in the cards for me!) which have resulted in a bit more fascial tightness and pain around my knee that Dr. Kyle was able to beautifully solve through exercises, manual therapy, and needling. I had a baby about 10 months ago and I ended up being pretty sedentary for several months. Dr. Kyle: Thank you for strategically guiding me towards overcoming long standing health issues by utilizing a unique professional approach which encompassed dietary, physical therapy and spiritual strategy.
I have seen Dr. Kyle for nutritional & Ayurvedic wellness coaching, physical therapy, bone broth cleanses, mindfulness lifestyle improvements, & the most intuitively administered & profoundly healing cranial sacral therapy imaginable. She is a true... healer— and the best part is everything is evidence based & scientifically backed. She’s the rare complete package; blending eastern & western healing modalities to holistically address her client’s issues at the root cause. She does not just resolve pain or problems— she helps elevate you to previously unimagined levels of health & wellbeing. My journey to health with Dr. Kyle began years ago, and continues today. I initially began seeing Kyle for alignment issues; psoas & postural related back & hip pain. What began as expert physical therapy for what seemed (to me) like surface level sports injuries blossomed into a much deeper & more profound reexamination of my entire approach to my body, to food, to sleep, to lifestyle & to all movement in general. As Kyle began addressing my injuries it became clear they were mere symptoms of much deeper lifestyle imbalances. I lived an extremely stressful & intense life as a stepmom to 3 teens, working professional, & recovering college athlete— meaning I tended to be Gung Ho, without ever mindfully giving myself time to rest, rarely putting my own wellness needs before the needs of others, & never considering the impacts on my body, mind, and spirit. On top of that, about a year into seeing Kyle my husband and I began going through a long IVF & implantation process to get pregnant, so I had the added layer of intensive hormonal therapy. In other words; I was a mess.Over multiple seasons of gradual, progressive, insightful appointments, Kyle peeled the onion on layers of dysfunction, helping me make long term adjustments to my diet, lifestyle, and mindset that actually stuck. There were weeks I felt like I made no progress at all or even backtracked severely, but her endlessly positive, progress-oriented, nonjudgmental & encouraging approach would always find a silver lining in my week. She’d intuitively recalibrate goals to keep them ever-attainable, & make sure I always felt like our treatment plan was manageable. There were plenty of times I felt like there was just no way I had time or energy to receive this type of consistent nutritional & lifestyle coaching with my frequent travels & hectic life, & I’d be embarrassed, overwhelmed, late to appointments, having failed to implement any of the things we’d discussed in our last appointment... and yet I never felt judged for my perceived failures or discouraged from my plan. Kyle’s loving smile, remarkable ability to hold space regardless of where I was at, and her calm & wise disposition are truly what I believe allowed me to stick with it. She is a gem of a practitioner, & I can’t imagine a more well rounded practice in Boulder. Anyone who receives care from Kyle will come away better for it.Fast forward several years— my husband sees Kyle for physical therapy, I have a beautiful, healthy 6 month old baby boy, & I never even think about the things we’ve worked on over the years as they’re now so ingrained in my daily routines. I’ve incorporated her recommendations & guidance to the point it’s truly second nature. I sleep far better, eat mindfully, have eliminated all problematic foods without any cravings, consume way less caffeine throughout the day (& need less! Even with a baby!) I can center myself with meditation & mindful movement & stretches in moments of stress without it feeling like a chore. And most of all I feel seen & celebrated for all I’ve accomplished.I’m now on a postpartum journey where a whole new host of hormonal fluctuations and structural issues present themselves— giving birth & caring for a large, heavy baby are not without their physical impacts. But I know with time & gentle, progressive care from Kyle I will heal & once again be thriving.Could not recommend her highly enough. Seeing Dr. Kyle is a gift to yourself that will keep on giving.read more

The next day was covid lockdown. Two weeks passed and I was referred to Kyle. During our initial discussion I knew she would be able to help me and actually became “my person” during covid. She was able to get me out of pain, give me a plan which worked/works and is a pleasure to be around. I really look forward to our sessions and discussing how to progress (at the right pace) and especially Talulah (the delightful therapy dog) excellent assistance. You know when you meet the right people who are there to support, lift and make you better- Kyle is that. I highly recommend her to anyone looking to overcome pain/ injury/ health challenges.Lizread more

We worked together to find the root of the issue I was... having so I could be symptom free (which I now am!). Kyle has also helped me with PT work from a back issue to a darn IT band problem. I would highly recommend working with Kyle, she is a kind and caring practitioner. I visited Apline Fit for two reasons: 1. As a supplement to my in-network PT for rehabing a tough sprained ankle. 2. To help me prepare for an ultra-endurance mountain biking race.Over ~6 sessions, Dr. Willets was extremely informative, patient,... and supportive of my goals and injury. I love Alpine Fit. Kyle worked on my hip 1 time and it made a world of difference! I highly recommend going there.
I've seen specialist after specialist for an injury and must say that Dr. Kyle is 10/10 amazing.Dry needling is often kinda jarring but she was gentle and helped me feel much better.
PT is tough. Living an active lifestyle with chronic injuries is even tougher. Kyle and Alpine Fit help me manage both. With two shoulder tears in as many years and longterm injuries to hip and knee, I've personally had a lot of body work and worked... with numerous clinicians in Boulder over the years. I've been working with Kyle for most of 2018 and here are the elements have helped me make real, longterm, lasting gains:- Genuine personal attention: taking the time to know my injuries, my style to design and continually adjust a rehabilitation plan accordingly.- Accessibility: the ability to actually schedule sessions (not weeks out) and find the time to do more if its a rough week or reduce sessions if my body is doing well- Depth of knowledge and techniques available: Kyle has an excellent working knowledge of kinesiology and physiology and uses it to develop protocols that are effective and not overtaxing at the same time. The ability to vary between cupping, dry needle, manual manipulation, edge tool, stretching, and measure and track progress provides a overbuilt tool chest of techniques which is exactly what you need to make real progress rather then just treat symptoms like most PTs out there. If you are looking for a place that gives you a take home sheet of exercises and red and green bands and says ;come back in four weeks for your next paper' this is definitely NOT the place for you. Also, if you are looking for a magic fix and don't want to put in any effort, this isn't the place either (and good luck- because such things don't exist once you cross into your 30s!). If you live an active lifestyle but have had some setbacks and want to invest in improving them and yourself as a whole, then I would recommend Alpine Fit.read more

Kyle has refreshing, holistic view of health and has been wonderful to work with. Kyle was in charge of rehabbing my shoulder after a recent surgery. I requested a rehab program based on exercises I could perform on my own. She started by performing an in depth evaluation of the shoulder and based on that, gave me a series of... exercises to restore the shoulder to full mobility and function. She put a lot of effort into making sure I understood how to correctly perform the exercises, including making a video and sending me an email in which she described them. We then had regular session where she evaluated my progress and adjusted my regimen accordingly. Thanks in large part to her efforts and oversight, the shoulder now is fully functional and feels great!Among the reasons why I liked working with Kyle and recommend her and Alpine Fit:She was very attentive to how the program was working for me -- she was not locked into any preconceived notions she might have had and continually adapted her views and my program to how my shoulder was progressing and my overall physical situation. Her in-depth knowledge of a wide range of healing modalities including exercise, anatomy, diet, kinesiology, yoga, massage and sleep made her a one stop for any wellness questions I had. She didn't just treat my shoulder but with my overall well-being. I feel that she is a good resource for any health-related question I have. As an example of her general flexibility and desire help her patients in any way possible, she once met me at my gym to observe and provide feedback on my workout routine. She is very personable, her scheduling is very flexible and her rates very reasonable. While I don't necessarily look forward to needing medical attention, I do look forward to working with Kyle in the future.read more

At first I was hesitant to work with Dr. Kyle. I’ve been in pain for 6 years and nothing’s changed it, why will physical therapy this be any different? But, I’m so glad I did! Since working together I’ve learned strategies to manage my pain as it... comes up and even though I still get pain I am doing things - like camping, running (which I haven’t been able to do for six years), and biking up steep mountain roads I was afraid to ride before. Using what I’ve learned from Dr. Kyle I am more aware of my posture and how I move throughout the day. I still get pain but I’m much more confident about how to get it under control and just have an off day versus not be able to get back out and be active the next day. I’m so thankful to be on a road to health and feeling more confident in my body!read more
