Q: What do I need to bring?
A: All you need is a willingness to move your body, desire for good company, and of course, a good pair of running shoes and a bottle of water! Dress appropriately for weather in the case of cold, darkness (head lamp or some sort of light for visibility), or heat.
Q: Can anyone join the run club? Do I have to be a current/past client?
A: ANYONE can join the club, at any time. You do not have to be a current/past client. We are happy to have the company on a good run!
Q: What’s the pace for the runs? How far?
A: The pace will range, on average, from 7:30-10 min/ mile depending on the group attendance for about a 5k distance. But we encourage you to not worry about pace so much, and instead just come and enjoy your own run with friends.
Q: Are there post-run celebrations?
A: Yes! Occasionally, we will meet for a mini-workshop to learn more about running, or at a local brewery to share a toast to good health. There are also many surprise giveaways from our partners that occur before or after the run at random.
Q: Can I talk to a physical therapist regarding my injury?
A: Yes of course! Depending on the nature of your injury, Dr. Ally may encourage you to set up a free 30 min consultation in order to ensure enough time to deliver her best clinical recommendation.
Is injury holding you back from joining Run Club?
Sometimes even longstanding injuries stem from one or two root causes and can shift relatively quickly when properly identified and addressed.
